What is Amp-Camp?
Amp-Camp is a 3-Day "day camp" for grades 6-12th to learn how to better use your gifts and abilities in worship, and working towards a night of worship on the evening of the final day.

Register now for Amp-Camp at CrossPointe Church for 16 hours of professional instruction in guitar, keys, bass, drums, vocals, and technology (video, lights, sound). Come learn to play popular worship music as part of a band setting from accredited music teachers, professional musicians, and band leaders. Then, the evening of July 22, all Amp-Camp participants will take part in leading a special youth night of worship.
Amp-Camp is for grades 6-12th. Camp dates are July 20 5PM-9PM, July 21 & 22 8AM-NOON. The youth worship night with all Amp-Camp bands/participants will be July 22 at 7PM.
Cost is $70 per student and is required upon arrival. Register early for discounted rate. Lunch will be provided each day.
Who will I be working with?
David Flores is a contemporary and classical guitar artist. He has studied with some of the world's greatest guitar virtuosos such as Christopher Parkening, Sharon Isbin, and Manuel Barrueco. Over the years he has shared the stage with rock legends such as Peter Frampton, Styx, Ben Folds, REO Speedwagon and many others. He was selected to perform for Vincente Fox (former President of Mexico). Mr. Flores has a Master of Music Performance from the University of Oklahoma and is currently the Director of Worship and Music Studies at Hillsdale College. He maintains a busy performance schedule, private teaching studio, and lends his dynamic playing style to recording studios around the Oklahoma City area. He has devoted his life to the pursuit of excellence in music and is eager to share his wealth of experience to those who have a heart for worship.
Zach Johnston is a Worship and Music Studies major at Randall University. He has been the student director of the school's traveling group, Revive, for two years, has lead in Chapel Band, and is also the director of the student band at Crosspointe. Zach is primarily a guitarist and vocalist but also plays some banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and keyboard.
Mike Lewis is a Worship Pastor at CrossPointe Church in Norman, OK, with 20 plus years of worship leading, teaching, mentoring, and vocal experience. He has a bachelor degree from Welch College and most recently completed a Master of Arts in Worship Leadership from Liberty University. Mr. Lewis is also a developer and teacher in the Music and Worship studies program at Hillsdale College and has a passion to mentor others as musicians, leaders, and most importantly worshippers.
Evan Aldridge has been in worship ministry and taught voice for over 25 years. He is currently the Worship Pastor at Kingsview Church in Oklahoma City. He is a Vocal and Conducting Instructor at Randall University where he is also the Director of Concert Chorale and the traveling worship team Revive.
