Our Pastors and staff

God has blessed CrossPointe with an amazing group of pastors, support staff, and volunteers who put in countless hours each week to minister to people in our church and in our community. Here are a few insights and fun facts about them.

Mike Butler

Lead Pastor - mbutler @ crosspointe.tv

Mike Butler has been serving Christ as a pastor for nearly 20 years. He and his wife Debbie have served at CrossPointe since 2005 in different ministries including College, Singles, and Adult ministries.  As Lead Pastor, Mike attempts to point people to Jesus in every way that he can through engaging sermons, weekly classes, and by leading a home group. Holding Masters degrees in Religion and Professional Ministry from Liberty University, Mike believes that education is key to better understanding the Christian faith.  He serves as an adjunct professor at Hillsdale College in Moore teaching subjects such as Christian Theology, Biblical Interpretation, Comparative Religions, and Christian Counseling.

In addition to education, Mike believes that are not really growing in Christ unless we get our hands and feet dirty in the messiness that is ministry. So he and his wife have participated in global relief efforts with the 1040Initiative, working with DHS and foster kids through Royal Family Kids, and looking for ways to pour into their own community through various efforts.

Finally, Mike is just a regular guy with a passion for Jesus.  He longs to see his family grow in their faith and live from that place. He believes that each moment of our lives are granted to bring God glory - from leading people to Jesus to appreciating the power of a good cup of coffee.  He loves music, reading, and professional wrestling.

Mike Lewis

Worship and Arts Pastor - mlewis @ crosspointe.tv

Michael and his family have been part of the ministry at CrossPointe for over 20 years. He has served in churches in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Arkansas. As Worship and Arts Pastor, Michael has developed and mentored music teams at CrossPointe,  Hillsdale College, and nationally selected Youth Evangelistic Teams from Randall House Publishing. A masters graduate of Liberty University, Michael serves with his wife Bethany and their three children in areas of technology, worship leadership, planning, and training. Michael believes that worship music has always been an integral part of the church, especially here at CrossPointe. It has allowed people to move beyond simply hearing truth, and to express that truth back to God, the Creator. It’s a dynamic experience where God’s message becomes our own. It’s a catalyst for change that can transform who we are and how we see God.

Jimmy Crawford

Lead Children's Pastor - jcrawford @ crosspointe.tv

Jimmy Crawford serves as Lead Children’s Pastor and Director of Upward Sports. He also directs Transit46 & J.A.M., CrossPointe's mid-week programs for 1st-6th graders. 2015 is Jimmy's 20th year of experience in Children’s Ministry. He has directed several associational children’s camps and served on the State Christian Education Board. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and History from East Central University and has accumulated over 8 years of experience as a basketball coach in the Public School system and at the Collegiate level.

Angie Laubach

Director of Early Childhood - alaubach @ crosspointe.tv

Angie, and her husband, Shawn, have attended CrossPointe for over twelve years. She has extensive training in early childhood development and she has directed childcare programs in Manhattan, Kansas. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, majoring in Family Relations and Child Development. with further studies at Kansas State University. 

Chris Vasquez

Creative Media Director - cvasquez @ crosspointe.tv

Chris has been a worship leader in various churches since age 15. He and his wife Jennifer have been attending CrossPointe since 2007, and have twin boys, 10 years old. He currently helps lead worship, produces video and graphics for all services, and manages the CrossPointe website and social media. He also loves photography, Star Wars, obsesses over technology, tries to write novels, and thinks his kids are the cutest/most handsome kids in the tri-city area.

Lecia Adams

Director of Early Learning Center

Lecia has been a key leader in the startup and growth of the Kingdom Kids Early Learning Center. She has been involved in several childcare centers and even directed her own in-home facility dating back to the mid 90's. She has attended Rose State College, East Central, and the University of Oklahoma.
